Euro 95 (E10)

From 1 October 2019, Argos Euro 95 petrol can contain 10% ethanol. This is a legal requirement in the Netherlands. The maximum addition of 10% bioethanol ensures a CO2 reduction and is therefore better for the environment.

For vehicles for which Euro 95 is not suitable, there is a sufficient supply of other petrol, including our Superplus 98.
Check whether your vehicle can run on E10 in your vehicle manual or ask your garage owner. The check for your vehicle can also be done online. Do the check at www.e10check.nl .

Superplus 98 (E5)

Superplus 98, the alternative for Euro 95 (E10). This fuel contains a maximum of 5% ethanol and is therefore very suitable for sports cars, classic cars and scooters. Superplus 98 is an E5 petrol and has an octane number of 98, which means that your car’s engine performs better in heavier conditions. Such as a car ride through the mountains or towing a trailer or caravan.

Diesel

Standard Diesel is suitable for all diesel engines and fully complies with the NEN-EN 590 specifications. Standard Diesel can be recognised by the square sticker with B7. The number after the B indicates the maximum percentage of FAME that may be processed in the diesel. FAME is added to diesel to reduce CO2 emissions. Advantages of Diesel include faster starting at low temperatures, better fuel consumption and optimum engine performance. Diesel is available at every Argos petrol station.

Diesel HVO100

HVO100 is a synthetic fuel that is made 100% from residual materials of vegetable oils and fats. HVO100 has the same performance as regular diesel, but produces less greenhouse gas emissions (CO2e)
